الحمد لله الخبير البصير، والصلاة والسلام على البشير النذير، وعلى آله وصحبه أجمعين.

لا شك أن ميلاد النبي –صلى الله عليه وسلم- كان حدثًا عظيمًا في تاريخ الإنسانية، وحدثًا  فارقًا في تاريخ الرسالات والدعوات، وكأن البشرية ببعثة النبي محمد – صلى الله عليه وسلم- الرسول الفريد قد وُلدت من جديد، فقد جاء بأملٍ جديد، وخير عديد، وعطاءٍ مديد، يقول الله تعالى :]وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ إِلَّا رَحْمَةً لِلْعَالَمِينَ[[الأنبياء:107].

كان العالم قبل مجيء رسول الإسلام النبي – صلى الله عليه وسلم - يعيش حالة من الفوضى منتشرة في جميع الميادين الأخلاقية والعلمية والأسرية، ووصلت إلى مرحلة لا تطاق، وبلغ السيل الزبى، ووصل العالم أجمع في ذلك العصر إلى وضع هو دون مستوى الحيوانات، من وأدٍ للبنات، وانتهاكٍ للحرمات، وفعل للمنكرات، وتغلبٍ القوي على الضعيف، وحروبٍ وقتل لأبسط التفاهات، وانتشرت العصبيات وحب النفس والذات، كما قال الشاعر:

ونشرب إن وردنا الماء صفوا *** ويشرب غيرنا كدرًا وطينا

 

و الله يذكرنا بذلك، فيقول:]وَاذْكُرُوا نِعْمَةَ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذْ كُنْتُمْ أَعْدَاءً فَأَلَّفَ بَيْنَ قُلُوبِكُمْ فَأَصْبَحْتُمْ بِنِعْمَتِهِ إِخْوَانًا وَكُنْتُمْ عَلَى شَفَا حُفْرَةٍ مِنَ النَّارِ فَأَنْقَذَكُمْ مِنْهَا كَذَلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ اللَّهُ لَكُمْ آيَاتِهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُونَ[[آل عمران:103] 

كما انتشر الإشراك بالله، وحُرفت الكتب السماوية والشرائع التي جاء بها الأنبياء، وعاد الناس إلى عبادة الأوثان والأحجار، وادعاءِ أن لله ولدًا وله صاحبة، وحاشاه – جل جلاله- ] قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ (1) اللَّهُ الصَّمَدُ (2) لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ (3) وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌ (4)[.

ولما وُلد الرسول المصطفى – صلى الله عليه وسلم -  وقَرَت به عيونُ أهل الوفا والصفا، وظهر إلى الوجود رحمةً إلى جميع الناس، وكُسِيَ من أجله الوجودُ بأفخرِ لباس، وفُتحت أبوابُ الجنان وتزخرفت لقدومه استبشارا، وخمدت النيرانُ وأُغلقت منها الأبواب منَّةً وإشعارا، وغاضت بحيرة ساوة، وحُرست السماء بالشهب، ومُنع منها كل شيطان، وتكسرت تعظيمًا له الأصنام والصلبان.

فسبحان من حباه الهداية والعناية والبر والإكرام، وقال في حقه إظهارًا لعلو فضله وتذكيرا] يَا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ إِنَّا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ شَاهِدًا وَمُبَشِّرًا وَنَذِيرًا * وَدَاعِيًا إِلَى اللَّهِ بِإِذْنِهِ وَسِرَاجًا مُنِيرًا[(الأحزاب:46،45).

حتى أعداؤه استفادوا بمولده – صلى الله عليه وسلم - :فعن الحافظ شمس الدين ابن الجزري قال في كتابه المسمى (عرف التعريف بالمولد الشريف) ما نصه: "قد رؤي أبو لهب بعد موته في النوم فقيل له: ما حالك؟ فقال: في النار إلا أنه يخفف عني كل ليلة اثنين، وأمُص من بين أصبعَيَّ ماءً بقدر هذا، وأشار لرأس أصبعه، وأن ذلك باعتاقي لثُويبة عندما بشرتني بولادة النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم وبإرضاعها له، وأنشدوا:

إذا كان هذا كافرا جاء ذمه *** وتبت يداه في الجحيم مخلدا 

أتى أنه في الاثنين دائما *** يخفف عنه للسرور بأحمدا 

فما الظن بالعبد الذي عاش عمره***بأحمد مسرورا ومات موحدا

 

فالرسول - صلى الله عليه وسلم- رجل إنساني من طراز فريد كأنه ما خلق في الأرض إلا ليمسح دموع البائسين، وليضمد جراح المجروحين، وليذهب آلام البائسين المتألمين، فكان الزوج الصالح، والحاكم العادل، والأب الرؤوف، والصديق الوفي.

فهو رجل عبادة، قام بين يدي الله حتى تورمت قدماه، فلما قيل له: أولم يغفر الله لك ما تقدم من ذنبك وما تأخر؟ قال قولته الجميلة: «أفلا أكونُ عبدًا شَكورًا». أخرجه الشيخان.

وهو رجل دعوة أخذت عرقه ووقته وفكره وروحه، قال له ربه: ]يَا أَيُّهَا الْمُدَّثِّرُ * قُمْ فَأَنذِرْ[[المدثر:1-2]، فقام ولم يذق طعم الراحة حتى لقي ربه جل وعلا، فرسول الله - صلى الله عليه وسلم - ما تعلقت به قلوب أصحابه إلا لأنه قدوة، ما أمرهم بأمر إلا وكان أول المنفذين له، وما نهاهم عن نهي إلا وكان أول المنتهين عنه، وما حد لهم حداً إلا وكان أول الوقافين عنده.

كان يحول الأعداء إلى أصدقاء، كما فعل مع  ثمامة سيد اليمامة الذى جاء لقتله، كيف حول خلق النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم وأدبه ورحمته وتواضعه البغض في قلب ثمامة إلى حب مشرق ورفق ولين. وكان يبدل الأخلاق الرذيلة بالفضيلة، كما فعل مع الشاب الذي جاء يستأذنه في الزنا.

أما طريقة دعوة النبي-  صلى الله عليه وسلم-  وتعامله مع الخلق، فقد كانت بالحكمة والموعظة الحسنة، كما قال رب العزة – جل وعلا-  لنبيه - صلى الله عليه وسلم- : {قُلْ هَذِهِ سَبِيلِي أَدْعُوا إِلَى اللَّهِ عَلَى بَصِيرَةٍ أَنَا وَمَنِ اتَّبَعَنِي وَسُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَمَا أَنَا مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ} [يوسف:108]، {ادْعُ إِلَى سَبِيلِ رَبِّكَ بِالْحِكْمَةِ وَالْمَوْعِظَةِ الْحَسَنَةِ } [النحل:125]، {فَبِمَا رَحْمَةٍ مِنَ اللَّهِ لِنْتَ لَهُمْ وَلَوْ كُنْتَ فَظًّا غَلِيظَ الْقَلْبِ لانْفَضُّوا مِنْ حَوْلِكَ} [آل عمران:159]. فقدَّم النبي -صلى الله عليه وسلم- الإسلامَ كمنهجِ لحياةٍ بشريةٍ واقعية، فأرسى دعائم التسامح بين البشر، ودافع عن حقوق الإنسان قبل إنشاء منظمة حقوق الإنسان بقرون، وأرسى حضارة إسلامية متكاملة لما قدمه المسلمون الأوائل للعالم من أرقى حضارة وأعظم نموذج لها؛ وذلك بتفوقهم ونبوغهم العلمي والأخلاقي والديني، حضارة تجمع بين العلوم الشرعية والعلوم الحياتية، تجمع بين بناء المصانع والمادة وبين بناء الإنسان، فكان هو النموذج البشري المتكامل. 

أسأل الله جل وعلا أن يردنا إلى الحق رداً جميلاً، وأن يجعلنا من الذين يتأسون برسوله -صلى الله عليه وسلم-  وممن يكون في صحبته في الجنة، وممن يقدمون الخير للبشرية دائما.

The Birth of Humanity is in the Birth of the Best Human

All praise is due to Allah, and prayer and peace be upon the Messenger of Allah and his followers.

No doubt that the birth of the Prophet r was a great event in the life of humanity, and a milestone in the history of Prophet-hood. Its effect was as if humanity was reborn. Prophet Muhammad r came with new hope and blessings. The Almighty Allah says: 21: 107. And We have sent you (O Muhammadr) not but as a mercy for the 'Alamin (mankind, Jins and all that exists). 

Before the advent of the Messenger of Islam, the world lived in a state of corruption which affected all aspects of life; chaos in morals, in science and in family matters. It reached an unbearable state. 

The world reached a state worse than the level of animals; they buried their baby females alive, committed religiously forbidden acts, deprived the weak from their rights, wars erupted for the silliest reasons, tribal feuds and selfishness prevailed. That is like what a poet said: "We drink pure water, while others drink it impure with mud".

The Almighty Allah reminds us of that by saying: 3: 103. And hold fast, all of you together, to the Rope of Allah (i.e. this Qur'an), and be not divided among yourselves, and remember Allah's Favor on you, for you were enemies one to another but He joined your hearts together, so that, by His Grace, you became brethren (in Islamic Faith), and you were on the brink of a pit of Fire, and He saved you from it. Thus Allah makes His Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.,) clear to you, that you may be guided.

Also associating others with Allah, and rewriting the Holy Books which were revealed to the Prophets to their desires, people returned to worshipping idols and stones, and claiming that Allah had a wife and a son: "1. Say (O Muhammad (r)): "He is Allah, (the) One. 2. "Allah-us-Samad (The Self-Sufficient Master, Whom all creatures need, He neither eats nor drinks). 3. "He begets not, nor was He begotten; 4."And there is none co-equal or comparable unto Him."

 

When he r was born, all the loyal and faithful people became happy, mercy to mankind happened, the universe wore the most luxurious clothing, and the gates to Paradise opened, and were decorated as a rejoicement. The fires were put off, the doors were closed as a prevention and warning. The lake of Saawah sank. The skies were guarded by meteors, all devils were prevented from doing any harm, and crosses and idols were broken.

Glorified and Exalted to Who granted the prophetr  guidance, care and honor, and showed his merits by saying: 33 45. O Prophet (Muhammadr)! Verily, We have sent you as witness, and a bearer of glad tidings, and a warner, 46. And as one who invites to Allah [Islamic Monotheism, i.e. to worship none but Allah (Alone)] by His Leave, and as a lamp spreading light (through your instructions from the Qur'an and the Sunnah the legal ways of the Prophetr .

Even his enemies benefited from his birth: Abu Lahab, the unbeliever whose condemnation was revealed in the Holy Qur'an, was rewarded in Hell for his joy on the night of the Prophet's birth. Alhafeth Shams-Addeen Ibn Aljazri said in his book about the birth of the Prophetr : someone dreamt about Abu Lahab and asked him: how are you? He answered: "In Hell, but every Monday night, the fire is lighter, and I get to suck water from between two of my fingers" he pointed to the tip of his fingers to show the amount of that water. This is the reward for my releasing my slave Thuwaybah for telling me the glad tidings of the birth of Muhammad, and her nursing him."

The Prophet r is a unique person, as if he was created on earth only to relieve the pains and hardships of people. He was a good husband, a just ruler, a loving father and a faithful friend. He used to offer night prayers till his feet became swollen. Somebody said to him: "Allah has forgiven you, your faults of the past and those to follow." On that, he said: "Shouldn't I be a thankful slave of Allah)?"

He is a man whose message consumed all aspects of his life. His Rabb said to him: 74: 1. O you (Muhammadr) enveloped (in garments)! 2. Arise and warn!

He never rested until he died. His companions loved him because he was a role model. Whenever he ordered them to do something, he did it first, and whenever he ordered them not to do something, and he was the first to apply it on himself. He transformed enemies into friends, like when Thumamah, the chief of Alyamamah area went to kill him, and the Prophetr treated him in a kind and merciful way that Thumamah's hostile feeling turned into love and respect. Another example is when a young man went and asked the Prophetr for giving him permission to commit adultery, and changed his mind after that.

The Prophet's way for inviting people to Islam and his interaction with them wise in a good and wise way. The Almighty Allah says: 12: 108. Say (O Muhammad r): "This is my way; I invite unto Allah (i.e. to the Oneness of Allah - Islamic Monotheism) with sure knowledge, I and whosoever follows me (also must invite others to Allah i.e. to the Oneness of Allah - Islamic Monotheism) with sure knowledge. And Glorified and Exalted be Allah (above all that they associate as partners with Him). And I am not of theMushrikun (polytheists, pagans, idolaters and disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah; those who worship others along with Allah or set up rivals or partners to Allah)."

16: 125. Invite (mankind, O Muhammadr) to the Way of your Lord (i.e. Islam) with wisdom (i.e. with the Divine Inspiration and the Qur'an) and fair preaching, and argue with them in a way that is better. Truly, your Lord knows best who has gone astray from His Path, and He is the Best Aware of those who are guided.

3: 159. And by the Mercy of Allah, you dealt with them gently. And had you been severe and harsh-hearted, they would have broken away from about you; so pass over (their faults), and ask (Allah's) Forgiveness for them; and consult them in the affairs. Then when you have taken a decision, put your trust in Allah, certainly, Allah loves those who put their trust (in Him).

The Prophet r presented Islam as a practical way for human life. He established tolerance among humans, defended human rights centuries before the human rights organizations existed. 

He established a complete Islamic civilization on which the early Muslims presented for the world as one of the most advanced civilizations, and the greatest form of civilization, which was proved by their superior scientific excellence, moral and religious. It was a civilization which joined religious and civil knowledge. It connected building factories with building man, which resulted in his becoming the perfect human. 

I pray to the Almighty Allah to goodly bring us back to the truth, make us follow His Messengerr as an excellent role model, be among his company in Paradise, and make us among those who always do good to humanity.
